Dyer 29 Refits

We have a Dyer 29' in the shop for the 2nd winter season in a row for additional refits.  Last winter season she got new windows and opening windshields, new paint job from the rub rails up, a toe rail refit including drain holes as well as a complete stripping of the teak and re-varnish.  This year she's being refitted with a bow thruster, new water tanks and a soft headliner with teak strips.

Bay Cruiser 22 Refit

MathewsBros Bay Cruiser 22'

You may remember this Beautiful boat from our brokerage listings last year.  She has been sold to a couple from St. Michaels who are changing her up a little bit this winter.  Pegasus III is now named Chessie and will get a new coat of Blue awlgrip and a red boot stripe.  Moving into the boat,  the engine has been pulled to be cleaned, primed and painted before being reinstalled.  The fixed windows in the front of the windshield will be replaced with opening windshields.  In the cockpit, we'll be installing fold up foot rests for the captain and first mate.  We've made new companionway doors to replace the older ones and have replaced the sole in the cabin with teak and holly.  The owners have also been working with our canvas man, Steve Price, ordering an extended bimini for those hot summer days!

Brides & Boats

Below you'll see some pictures from a wedding that took place last fall.  Pete had the Honor of delivering the Bride to her wedding in style on that warm day aboard one of our Patriot 29's.

The bride and groom spent their first moments as a married couple aboard the MathewsBros Patriot 29' and enjoyed an afternoon ride along the Choptank River.

Refits & Varnish Prep!

Sea Ray here for a Refit
Another boat arrived yesterday morning (in the wind!) from up north - a Sea Ray needing a refit after damages incurred during Sandy.  While she arrived, the guys continued working on the four major projects we've got going on while finishing up smaller ones in between and steadily working on varnish prep!
