Deliveries & Splashings

Our storage buildings are emptying out!  The guys have been delivering boats constantly it seems - At least Five went out Today!  We did have one boat come in this week from up north for a paint job.  More boats going out than coming in - Must mean it's Spring!

Annie's Boat Ride

Annie and Pete took their boat, Annie Girl, to a Client's house to launch and motor over to a local boat yard to tow the Client's Herreshoff Sailboat from a local boatyard to their residence in St. Michaels.

Annie said the trip out to the boatyard only took about 30 minutes and was "co-old!"  Luckily they'd brought jackets to keep them warm on the trip!  The trip back to the client's house took about 2.5 hours and was much warmer.  Annie enjoyed her time out of the office and a boat ride with Pete.

They tied the boat up to the dock alongside the client's Mathews Brothers Blackwater 29', "Stagwell III" .

Queen Sea

On Saturday, Pete took Queen Sea across the Chesapeake Bay to Mill Creek off the Potomac River in Virginia.  He put the boat in at the landing in Denton and made the 4.5 hour trip across the Bay and up the Potomac.  He said it was "Beautiful Out there".
