Major Sailboat Refit

The guys are busy in the shop putting the final touches on a major refit to a Pearson 35'.  The owners of the boat are planning on taking long range trips beginning next year and wanted to modify the boat to make it more user friendly as well as more low maintenance.  The result?  An entirely different looking boat!  She's got all new deck hardware, a smaller cockpit, a boomkin, all new paint, nonskid, less teak (low maintenance), more locker space, a new head, galley and nav. station plus just so much more!!

Looking Forward to Focsle

Sail Away to Virginia

Galley Before Refit
Galley After Refit
One of our project boats was trailered to Hampton Roads in Virginia earlier this week.  As you can see, the look of the galley was changed.  The countertops in the galley were replaced, as was the sink and a double burner was added under the counter.

On the exterior of the boat, a gennaker pole was added to the bow as was a windlass and pop-up cleats for spring lines were added to both port and starboard sides.
