Dave Iglehart, General Manager of Mathews Brothers

We are very excited at Mathews Brothers to bring on Dave Iglehart as our General Manager.  Dave moved to the Eastern Shore in 1981 when he began working with Dickerson Boatbuilders.  Initially working on plug and mold construction for the Dickerson 50’s, he later joined the 37’ production line as well.  In 1989 when Dickerson production ended, Dave went to work in Oxford doing cabinet making and millwork.  In 1992, Dave joined Dettling Yacht Company as production manager supervising the construction of the Dettling 48’, 51’, and 71’ semi custom motor yachts until 2012.  He was involved in all aspects of boat production including fiberglass work, woodworking, painting, electrical, mechanical, etc.  He has jumped right in with both feet and is looking forward to meeting and working with all of our customers!
